Through Prayer: Pray that Children’s Ministry would not only grow and flourish but that it would become more and more integrated into the life of the Church. Pray that children feel included and that their strong sense of belonging and of being loved will be a pointer towards a God who loves them. Pray for all those actively involved in Children’s Ministry – for their continued energy, creativity and refreshment – as they teach and lead our children.
Through Getting Involved: Often one of the greatest hinderances to Children’s Ministry is the lack of leaders. And even more often the reason people don’t put themselves forward for leadership is fear of being ill-equipped for the task. Talk to your rector or Sunday Club Leader about becoming involved. It just might be one of the most rewarding tasks you ever take on.
Through Inviting us to your Parish/Diocese: If you feel extra training is needed or that parishes in your area could use a booster course to inject vision and ideas, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We can tailor a workshop to your specific needs and make it collaborative so that you go home with lots of shared resources and a renewed vigour for the work.
Through Giving: Church of Ireland Children’s Ministry depends on the support of individuals, parishes and dioceses to enable the work to keep going.
